Our Impact
Inspiring Learning, Building Community, Nurturing Joy
Today, too few children have the chance to learn and grow in an environment that helps them achieve their goals. But all around the country, Horizons programs are filling the gaps of opportunity for low-income students. By cultivating the joy of learning, the skills for success, and the inspiration to realize their dreams, Horizons changes the trajectory of students’ lives, opening up a pathway to successful adulthood.
- On average, Horizons students grew 6-10 weeks in reading and math during the 2025 summer program
- Horizons at GSFS students maintained an 91.2% attendance rate
- This summer we welcomed back four alumni from our very first graduating class (C/O ‘24). These bright and talented scholars returned to spend another summer with us as part of the city’s Career Connected Learning PHL program (C2L-PHL). This program provides paid work experience and career exploration opportunities for youth and young adults, connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences.
